A Rich History of Experience
Putzel offers a rich history of experience in commercial electrical contracting dating back over a century. Locally owned & operated, Putzel was founded in Macon, Georgia by Morris Putzel in 1893.
During the company's early days, Morris Putzel and his brother Isadore installed direct current power plants in middle Georgia. They also converted gas-lit buildings to electric and installed distribution systems and electric lighting throughout middle Georgia. Today, Putzel continues to grow in healthcare, industrial, office and education markets, helping to construct hospitals, medical office buildings, laboratories, university facilities, manufacturing and industrial plants. Putzel is licensed to work throughout the Southeast.
